Thank you and some Christmas Photos!

Hello Everyone and Happy New Year to You All. Are you all over the Festivities and looking forward to what 2018 has in store for you.

I know for some of you that there are ongoing health issues, so I'm sending you kind thoughts and hugs, that you'll enjoy good health soon.

We had a lovely Christmas with Damian, Moreen and the Pets. However, Moreen was suffering with a bad cold and I had succumbed to another bout of virus, so we didn't stay as long as we usually do. Damian cooked a fabulous Christmas dinner and I have to say my lentil soup was to die for. We exchanged lovely gifts and Rowan and Milo were beside themselves with excitement, here they are with their new scarves;
I didn't think they would wear them, but they did all afternoon and even went out with them at night, money well spent for the cuteness.

Anyway, It's not all about pets, here is a little card to say thank you for a Christmas gift;
Image is by Crafty Individuals 425,it's one of their latest creations. Stamped with a multi-coloured Versacolour ink and red gel pen for the holly berries and silver gel pen for the mistletoe berries. Sentiment is from CB McIntosh sentiment set of stamps. Added a few sequins and that's that.

We had a very quiet Hogmanay, in fact I went to bed early as I'm just not shrugging off this cold, but I am enjoying my book by Ken Follett, A Colum of Fire, it's the third book in the Kingsbridge series and I've been gripped since the start of reading them.  Not one ounce of alcohol has passed my lips, boring or what, I remember back in the day I could party for Scotland, not now, appreciate my comfort too much.

I'll finish off now, but just before that I would like to thank you all for the lovely comments of my last card, and indeed for you visits throughout the last year, I read and appreciated it all.

Here to end my post are a couple photos from Christmas Day

that's Poppy on the back of the Sofa,
Milo and Alistair, I think he was fighting off Milo's licking.
Take care Everyone and see you soon

A beautifully stamped image and thank you card Kate. Glad you had a lovely Christmas and New Year but hope that you feel better soon, too many bugs going around I'm afraid. I had all good intentions of starting off the new year with plenty of blogging and a house de-clutter but succumbed to some bugs of my own :(

Happy New Year, Kate! Fabulous photos (the Dogs scarves are gorgeous!) The Card is an absolute stunner! Gorgeous shades of green and beautifully stamped. It is one of the stamps that will probably be throwing itself into my online basket very soon! I too was nobbled by the cold bug between boxing day and 30th December, but was well enough to cook for new years eve's 5 guests, thank goodness. All the best for the coming year and I hope you feel much better soon xxx

A beautiful card, Kate. Loving the scarves for the "kids" too. Too bad you weren't feeling your best, but there is so much flu going around here now.
Take it easy and keep warm. Happy New Year Kate.

Hi Kate,
I have really enjoyed looking through your latest makes and was drooling over the beautiful box you created for your friend Fiona. It's stunning and I'm sure will be treasured for many years.
I really miss my dog Eddy but we're planning on getting some kittens this year so that will be something soft and purring for both of us to cuddle, it's amazing how much animals become part of your life and how important they soon become too. For me and Steve we didn't have children and that's made our pets more important too lol!

I love the scarves you got for the beautiful Poppy and Milo and I'm not surprised they happily wore them, out Eddy used to love wearing some of the tee shirts we purchased for him, he always looked so dapper and funny in them but he loved them.

I wanted to pop over to thank you sweet lady for all the lovely comments you have left me this year and to apologise for my lack of visits, I will try to be a better blogger this year. So happy that you loved some of the cards you did because they've been my favourite projects too. Love this card you created, the colours and stamping are perfect Karen xx

I'm so sorry to have been a bad blogger recently Kate. What a start to the year we've had and I'm still trying to catch up visiting. First I think your card is lovely. Green is my favourite colour. I really enjoyed looking at your photos and the doggies look adorable in their Christmas scarves. I hope you and Moreen are feeling better now. Barbxx
