Woollie Wonders!

Hello Everyone,  later than I'd planned to be putting up this post, but finally here.
Not great weather today, I'm back in socks and the heating is on, it's been raining and dull, but I've had a day indoors so got quite a few things  done.
I hope you are all well, but kind thoughts going out to everyone who isn't.

No card to share today, I thought I would show some of the knitting I've managed to finish;
This is a sweet little cardi for a 3-6 month baby, the yarn is called Blossom, I love the way the yarn forms little flowers. this has gone into my box for refugees.
Just a couple of bobble hats for children, for the box.
Adult beanie, Pattern is called Tree and Moon, knitted with Knit Picks yarn, for the refugee box.
I love this yarn from Opal called Little Prince after the lovely story by Antoine de Saint-Exupery, they are for my sock box.

More socks, this time knitted with gorgeous yarn bought when we were in Norway, for Meee.
More Little Prince socks.

Finally a photo of my lovely boy....no not Alistair

It's a bit picture heavy, but I hope you could stay till the end. These little bits and pieces I've made over the last few months, I'm not a fast knitter, I wish I was as I have so many lovely pieces that I want to make.

Thank you very much for your kind comments on my last card, much appreciated.

That's me for now, take care everyone and see you soon,

Wonderful items you have knitted Kate, you need them as it is very chilly here this morning. I do enjoy knitting too, I am in the process of knitting a 4ply black cardigan for myself.

So talented. My knitting skills rank at ZERO..... although I can tie a knot of wool onto the needle...so I guess I'm a 1.😆😅😄😉

Hi Kate,
oh my word these are all gorgeous makes.
The wool you have used is so very pretty especially that cardy one fancy it forming flowers that totally amazes me.
Having been an avid knitter over the years I am so impressed with your superb work.
Sadly my hands hurt too much nowadays to knit.
I just knit dish clothes these days as that is not too much for my hands to cope with.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Blogger just ate my comment for supper. I hope he gets indigestion.
I'm glad that you said you have knitted all these gorgeous makes over several months. I am still struggling to finish a pair of fingerless gloves I started in Feb 2016. I had the bright idea of knitting them in tandem on the same set of needles in the theory that I would only have to read the pattern once and it would be quicker. which part of quicker did my brain not get round!! Hope Alistair is not sitting sulking in the corner. Hugs Mrs A.

Hi Kate, these are wonderful. I love the rainbow of colours. How clever are you to knit socks. I've knit in my time but socks and mittens are a no no for me, too many fiddly bits to sew together. Love the knitting, hate the sewing.
Boy how warm they will be. Hope the weather has improved.

What beautiful work. That cardi is so pretty and the hats are lovely. I wear socks most of the year until it gets really hot. Can't wear wool though.

Certainly enjoyed seeing all the wonderful fashions you've knitted. What lovely yarn, and it looks so incredibly soft as well. I can't knit at all, so I'm in awe of your skill. Love your color choices, and especially the tiny baby sweater. Nice to see Mr. T looking so relaxed and comfy, wish I could send you some of the warm air, soft breezes and golden sunshine we've had today. Big hugs, TFS & Happy Easter too.

Hi there Kate, the little cardigan is so pretty, love the colours in the yarn. Love all your projects, my goodness, you have been a busy bee Kate, the last thing I knitted was a Pudsey bear for our grandson, a good few years ago now lol! Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a lovely comment.
Hugs Jennifer xx.

I always enjoy when you share your gorgeous knitted projects, Kate! I'm impressed since I can't knit a whit! (I got a chuckle that you think this is a picture-heavy post! What should I call mine then? How about "picture album" posts?, lol!) Happy Easter, my friend! Hugs, Darnell

Lovely knits Kate, the cardi is so sweet and I'm sure the socks will come to good use. I must admit that I wear wool socks most of the year, it's so comforting to have warm feet.

Love and hugs

Wow your knitting is gorgeous, I could get hooked on it and/or crochet as well, but there is not enough time for everything. I love looking at yarn, the colours are so wonderful. Your cat is Gorgeous as well, I wish I could met him.... I'm missing our Archie so much. Happy Easter weekend, Shirleyxx

Hi Kate
I did do a double take on the cardi as I thought "It'll never fit her" lol! I thought you'd been doing the Usain Bolt style of knitting and had done these all recently lol!
You are such a talented lass with the pins.
As for your boy, he's a handsome beast and Teallach isn't bad either, lol!
Happy Easter.

These knitted sweater, hats and socks are all so lovely. You have an eye for just the right yarn and are a wonderful knitter and such a kind lady to do these beautiful pieces for those that need them.

Your boy is quite handsome (and I think he knows it)
