Little Birds and their House!

Hello Everyone, I hope all is well and good with you today. We had quite a good day weather wise and went to Dingwall for a bit of a walk, and then into the town to a super shop that sells wool and lots of other lovely other things, like handbags and shoes. However it was wool I was after and so treated myself to some gorgeous chunky yarn to knit some fabulous cowls, which I hope will be for Christmas gifts.  I need to start now as I'm not a fast knitter.

Thank you all so much for your lovely comments on my last card, I do love reading them and appreciate your time.

I'm not really making cards just now, I have so many in my box and so unless I need to do one for the CCC challenge which as you know is for getting ahead for Christmas, I am using up what I have. We don't have all that many folk we need cards for, and now I'm not at work I have lost my card customers. I want to concentrate more on my other passion which is knitting.

Anyway, I have a little card here that I made sometime last year and has been hiding away in my folder, at least I think I've not shown it;

This is a stamp from Little Claire, it's such a sweet image and coloured with SN pens, it was a thank you card for a friend.

I've got the evening to myself so I am indulging in The Vikings from Amazon Prime.  Absolutely hooked on it, even although I have to turn away at the gory bits, what violent times they were, so I'll pour a little G&T, I've got a lovely spicy one on the go just now, and settle down for the night.

Stay warm and cosy wherever you are and enjoy your evening.

Pretty card, Kate. The little birds are so cute and I like the colours you've chosen. Sounds like you've had a better day up there than we have had down here - damp, rainy and miserable. You're sure starting out soon enough with your Christmas knitting :) Elizabeth xx

So sweet and says "I am ready for Spring!" Kate have you thought about doing an art journal? Can be a lot of fun to keep especially trying out new techniques.

The Vikings is a great series but I seem to have missed bits but then I don't have Amazon prime. Scary times!

I love your card shape and all the lovely flowers with a touch of glitter too.

Hope you enjoyed your walk and wrapped up warm. It's a tad nippy here today.

Hugs Erika. x

Such a sweet image, and beautifully colored with a spring time look. Like the sparkle of the glimmer on the flower centers and the nice embossed dots! Sounds like a fun shopping trip & can't wait to see what you do with the yummy yarn. Thanks so much for the lovely card we had in the held mail after we got home. So appreciated, and was a nice happy surprise after our trip too. Will be sharing on the Friends Cards tab soon. Big hugs, stay cozy & TFS
