Mushrooms and Leaves!

Good Morning....just. Hoping everyone is well and your weather is better than ours. What a day yesterday was with high winds and rain, and through the night it wasn't much better, didn't help with the sleep, so this morning I'm just a tad shattered and feel as if I've gone 10 rounds in a boxing ring.  However, just because I can, I'm having a slow day with the dressing gown on, and will get myself together later as it's Choral practise tonight. Mind you, I have a bit of an achey throat which I hope is not going to develop into anything so near the concert. I was so annoyed with myself as I couldn't sing in the last concert in May nor at the Russel Watson concert, so I'm determined to make this one even if I just have to mime, so long as I can stand of course.

Anyway, here I am with today's offering, which is make using Chocolate Baroque,s latest AYOS stamp, what do you think??
The Mushroom image has been heat embossed with WOW powders in Gold and coloured with DI.
Background is coloured with DI and stamped with the leaves from the Autumn Edges set of stamps from CB, Sentiment from CB McIntosh words set.

That's me for now, just before I go though just to say thank you for all the lovely comments on Alistair's birthday card, you are so kind.
See you soon, keep well,
I would like to enter my card into;

I hope your throat is ok? I started with that on Saturday and now it is in my nose and ears, the joys of the season! Sniff!
I will be dosing up and sharing at work tomorrow.....they'll love me, NOT.

Hugs Erika. x

Wonderful autumn colours Kate you made a fantastic job of colouring the image, and the background paper. I wish we had frosty mornings with bright clear afternoons , much more autumnal. Hope the throat improves and you enjoy your day taking it easy

This is a gorgeous CB stamp, and I like the gold embossing with the fab coloring too! Adding the leaf pattern dp set off the pretty image & matting. A really pretty Thank you card. Hope you feel better this evening for your choral practice. We were watching an old Brit program last nite, where the plot involved a group of people preparing their music for a village competition. I thought of you as we watched (it was Midsommer Murder episode). Isn't it lovely to be retired and slog around in your bathrobe if you don't feel up to getting dressed? Bliss! Hugs & TFS

Gorgeous stamp, well coloured and forming a fabulous card Kate. We had the same weather. I opened the curatins in the lounge this morning (it's upstairs) and saw half the TV aerial on the garage roof. Luckily that is for the television downstairs in the sitting/dining room and we use the one upstairs most of the time which has a satellite dish. Ah well, another job to sort out. I really do hope your throat doesn't develop into anything worse,; it would be such a shame to miss out when you have put in so much work! Hugs Christine xx
