Thank You!

Hello Everyone, and how are you all this fine Sunday, well I'm hoping, but if there is anyone out there in need of some kind thoughts and hugs, I'm thinking them to you.
We have thunder and rain now after having a lovely earlier part of the day, and we are congratulating ourselves for getting some gardening done before the rain came on.  Now I have a bit more time I am hoping to get into gardening, although I'm anything but green fingered, but I do love flowers and plants.  I bought some lavender plants this morning at our local Floral Hall, and a beautiful Fuchsia, so managed to get them potted up and then some weeding.  It's a start.

Thank you all so much for your kind comments on my last card, and about the photos, I have another couple of pics of the little bay we were at last week, but first here is my card;
This is one I had in my box, but Alistair need a thank you card for his friend's wife who looked after him and his friend Bill before and after their trip to Iceland.  It's an old card that I revamped, so some of you might have seen it before. I think it's a Crafty Individual stamp, and it's been heat embossed in black.

Now here are the photos of Mellon Udrigal, which means little hill of Udrigal and Udrigal is a Norse word for cleft or gully;

The mountains are part of the Torriden range, fabulous, and the sand here is silvery. The second photo looks up to the left of where I was sitting and the sky was getting darker and darker, then the thunder started and there was flashes of lightening, you can just see the outline of another mountain in the background. a wee while later I went for a paddle, and it was cold, but refreshing, feet felt so lovely and cool.

Anyway folks that's me for today,  having an early dinner so that  we can get over to see to the pets.
The phone never stopped yesterday with Damian phoning to see if they were OK, not heard from them today they must be more relaxed about leaving them.

See you soon and take care

Lots of drama with the black & white colors paired as you've done them. The focal image looks very vintage to my eyes, and I'm loving that wonderful embossed background. So very pretty. Always enjoy the pictures you share with those mysterious names of the sites you visit. The mountains looked very brooding against that dark sky, and I imagine that water felt very icy. Hope the thunderstorm didn't spoil your lovely day. Now you have time to relax and enjoy more outings of this type, without having to think "Monday - back to the grind". Enjoy it! Hugs & TFS.
