Butterflies and Blooms

Good Evening to You, I hope everyone is tip top and enjoying their evening.
It's been perishing cold here today, we are back into Winter again. The snow on Sunday didn't lie too long, but it feels as if there could be more to come.

I'm on my own for a few days as Alistair is visiting his brother who has had a hip replacement, and he just wants to get him settled in at home and to make sure he has some support in place.  Jim had his other hip replaced two or three years ago and has done very well with the new one, we're hoping that this one will do the trick too.  It's lovely to have a bit of time to myself though, even if I'm doing nothing much.  Then at the weekend he is of with is wee pals for the traditional canoeing trip, more time to myself and I'm off work so I plan to get a few bits done around the house, just hoping the weather will pick up.

Thank you all for the super comments on my last card, I know it takes up time to visit but I do appreciate them.

My card this evening is one made for the CB Colour Challenge;
I've used the gorgeous Butterfly Dress from CB and coloured them with SN, SB Elegant Circles Dies
Embossilious EB folder, Lace and Ribbon from my box, Roses given to me by Blogging Friend Lorraine, Liquid Pearls, Flower soft Sentiment.

I'm not sure if my colours will do, but they are the nearest I've got.
This card is for my friend Dale's birthday, she doesn't look at my blog so I'm safe to show it. I've just make a box for it now.

That's me for tonight, off to bed for a bit of a read before the Land of Nod,

I would like to enter this card into;http://chocolatebaroquechallenge.blogspot.co.uk/2015/04/challenge-ten.html

Kate, so glad you are getting some 'me' time, and hope you get to thoroughly enjoy it. Your coloring on this beautiful image is wonderful. Love the circular lacy S/Binders that you selected, and also that delicate embossed background. Gorgeous roses and bow to add even more to this awesome image. Well done. TFS & Hugs

Hi Kate,
oh this is so gorgeous.
Love that fab image, and your wonderful design.
great embossed background too.
Isn't it just nice to have a little wee bit of me time, and not have to stop crafting to make the dinner and such.
I don't know about you ,but I get a lot more housework done when my DH isn't around, and that's not very often.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
