Clean & Simple, with Red, Green and White for the CCC!

Hello  to You All and hope you are well and enjoying your weekend.
Thank you for all the lovely comments on my last card, and for the sympathy shown to my hubby, a bit more than he got from me.  He is still not that good. Thankfully it doesn't happen all that often, silly man just can manage alcohol.

A bright and very cold day here, but the rain kept away. We have been lucky so far in that there has been no snow at this level, just on the hills, but it feels like there should be.

It's time once again for the friendly ladies from the Christmas Card Club to show this year's cards and we begin with Carol's choice which is Clean and Simple in Red, Green and White.  So here is mine;
This is very simple for me, I up cycled the tree from a very old Christmas card and found a piece of ribbon that's been around for ages, added pearls and a little star gem.

Well that is the first Christmas card of 2015 made, and I hear some of you groan thinking they are well and truly behind you for at least 9months, but it is a really good idea to get started, and this is what the CCC is all about and not being caught out and having to rush at the last moment. It's a fun way to get the cards made, maybe you would like to join us.

Off to make a cuppa, enjoy the rest of your evening and see you soon,
I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

I can't believe that's you making your first card for 2015. I've still got a list of NY cards to make for those I didn't manage to get Christmas cards out in time for. Gulp!
Love the CAS style of this card and the colour combo. This colour green is much more vibrant that the usual Christmas green, I like!
Enjoy your Monday, hugs Erika. x
