Keep Climbing!

Good Afternoon Everyone, I hope you are all well, but I know that there are some of my crafting friends a having difficult times at the moment, or their loved ones are, so I'm sending out positive thoughts and Big Hugs that you'll soon be well again.

Thank you for the lovely comments on my Anniversary card for Alistair, and your good wishes. We enjoyed a lovely meal last night, stuffed full as usual, no room for dessert though.

Today is Alistair's 69th Birthday,  but as he is fit and well he certainly doesn't seem that age, well not physically,  sometimes I think I'm dealing with an adolescent, ha ha!

Anyway, here is is birthday card;
I had seen the mountain image on a card that Christine of Christine's Cards and Crafts, and I thought just perfect, I couldn't get it here, so Christine kindly sent to the US for it. It's from Our Daily Bread range of stamps, The sentiments are from the same set, which is called Keep Climbing.
The climbing gear is from Just Inklined another great find.
The sky is coloured with a blend of DT inks and there is Wink of Stella in Clear on the mountains and Glossy Accents on the helmet, and coloured with SN.
I'm awfully pleased with how it's turned out, and Alistair is delighted. He is also delighted with the new music stand that I gave him, and Damian and Moreen will be over later to see him, so all in all he is having a lovely day.

I'm getting myself together for my trip to Birmingham tomorrow, really getting excited now at meeting up with everyone, and going to see all the wondrous crafting goodies at the NEC. It's an early rise to get down to Perth to meet up with Patricia and Hazel, who then drives us to Edinburgh for our flight.  Going to be a long day though, but I'll get a second wind. We will then meet up with Ang' aka Mrs. Duck and Christine whom I've mentioned above and have a lovely meal and a right old laugh and chat. The time will go too quickly but it will be great fun.
I'd love to think I'd meet some of you at the NEC too, so if you recognise me Please say hello.

Before I go here is the set of stamps I won from Sue Wilson the other week;
Summer Flowers... I just love them such beautiful designs and sentiments.

I'll say cheerio for now and see you in a few days, keep well and happy crafting

What a fabulous card. The ray of light effect is super and the stamp is lovely.
Didn't we have a laugh last night! Its such a pity we live so far apart as it would be nice to have such fun more than once per year lol!
Hope you have all had a good day at the show today and safe travels home tomorrow.
