Thinking of You!

Good Afternoon Everyone and I hope the weather is better where you are, it's been pelting of rain most of the day, however, we are lucky to have no flooding unlike those poor folk in the South of the Country, It's just so awful for them, I can't imagine what it would be like having your home ruined in that way, my heart goes out to them.

Thank you for all your lovely comments on my last card, Damian thought it was "smart".
I've been trying to get around to commenting on your wonderful creations, but have only managed a few, so please forgive if I've missed you, it's not been intentional.

I,ve been working my days this week altogether, and having a late shift and working Saturday, I'm way behind things, and boy was I tired last night, couldn't even pick up my knitting, but it's just all getting used to this new way of working.

I do have a card today,
I've used one of the lovely images from LOTV Art Pads, Cute Cottage Garden
XCut die shapes
Hunkydorry Card
Sentiment from Floral Sentiments, Flower Soft
Ribbon and Dazzler from my box

It's a card for one of my work colleagues who has been diagnosed with mouth cancer and has had her first bit of surgery. I believe it will be quite a long haul for her with lots of reconstruction involved, thankfully she has come through the first bit OK.
Just goes to prove you never know what's around the corner for you.

Well that's me for today, I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend, and see you soon

Wow! Kate that's one stunning card, I just love the Die Cut shapes.
Raining here most of the day, however snow higher up. We now have snow on the hills to the front as well as the back.
Thomas is ski-ing all week with the school, plenty of snow for him.
Have a great week ahead

Patricia xx

Hi Kate
A wonderful and thoughtful card for your colleague. We certainly don't know what's around the corner and I'm glad I don't. Fingers crossed she will be well again soon but at least your pretty card will hopefully cheer her spirits.
Hope you get yourself settled into a steady work routine soon.
Best wishes
Ang x

Ps wet here most of the day with the odd bit of sun. Yesterday we had a mahoosive storm with thunder, lightening and huge hailstones.

Hi Kate,
what a very pretty card. Love that design and the image is sooooooooo! great. What a very pretty ribbon you have used.
So sorry to hear about your colleague. I am sure such a really great card will cheer her up no end.
The weather here in the South has been awful again today.
So much rain. To think 7 years ago I lived in Yalding Kent where they were flooded, so badly, so I am very grateful we moved, back to Ashford.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Beautiful floral card, Kate, which is so nice to see with all the snow we are having. Love the pink die frame too. Your friend will enjoy and appreciate that you are thinking of her. My Mom used to say "it's a good thing we don't know what the Good Lord has in store for us tomorrow", what you said reminded me of her.......

Hugs
Sue
