Another penguin Card

Good Morning Everyone, hoping you are all well today.

I didn't manage to post yesterday but did catch up with what others had been making and what lovely cards there were. Such talented folk out there.

I ended up having to work late as a colleague was off sick and it was our late  night opening so by the time I got home I was too whacked to do very much.  We are in a state of change at work and it is very challenging for everyone and there is also quite a bit of sickeness and really low moral.  Truth be told we are all exhusted, but our new area manager who doesn't come from a social care background and is really a bean counter doesn't really care.  Well that's the way of the world now,  that's my moan for today, I'll shut up and get on with it.

My card today is the same image as the other days card, little penguins but this time Iv'e made it to entre The Sugar Bowl Challenge, so paid particular mind to the layout and colour pallet,
Again not a great photo,Alistair is away with the camera and this is from my phone.

I've used; 8x8 card, papers are all from making cards (freebies), digi stamp from Sugar Nellie coloured with Promarkers, Co-ordination mustard and black card. Spellbinders oval shape die coloured with distressed ink, WO flowers and blue pearls, the sentiment is from the free papers too, and a little bit of glitter.
The colours chosen are mustard, blue, black and vanilla, trying  to keep to the stated colour pallet with what i already had in my promarker selection and papers.
I hope this does.  I found doing this card quite fun trying to match everything, but that's what it's all about isn't it, Fun.
Thank You  everybody who commented on my last post I really do love reading them.  Have a good day whatever your doing and will catch up with you later,
Kate x

Good morning Kate. Hazel Patricia ( summerhouse crafts) sister here I have been looking at your blog for a while via Patricia's and as you may have read I have only mastered getting to post on blogs. Any way enough of that, well done you being able to make a lovely card after a hard day at work. I know what thats like and I know I couldn't make a card, then again I don't make them. I make lady and baby gifts and I hate having to do one after a day at work. Hope to day was better. Hazel

Hi Kate, good on you for producing such a sweet card after an extremely long shift. I don't how they can employ managers who have no experience in the area they have to manage but that's what they today, you have my sympathies. Anyway beautiful card and I hope it does well in the challenge.
