A Productive Thursday Evening

Good Evening All and thank you for the lovely comments about Moreen's card. They are very much appreciated and I look forward to receiving them.

I have had the house to myself tonight so I thought I would manage to get a card made, Alistair and a pal have gone to the swimming pool in Nairn to learn how to capsize a canoe and get into it again, Just how these men love to play!!  He's only been canoing for around ten years, however I guess it's important to learn these things.

This is just a short post tonight as I'm fairly whacked having had quite a stressful day at work but I wanted to get this card made as I want to enter it into LOTV Little Fairies Challenge for this week. The theme is"Snow is Falling"
I really must get one of these things that help you take a good photo, I think they're called a PHOTOGRAPHER!!!!
Anyway I used:   LOTV die cut topper Snowy Town, matted onto silver mirri, on to purple co-ordinations
background paper is from Wild Rose Studio, Bella paper pad,Spellbinder snowflakes, Memory box corner and LOTV sentiment, glittered and gemmed.

Hope you like it,  Good Night,  Kate x

Gorgeous card, such a lovely, festive scene.
I use PicMonkey, which is free, to edit my photos, you can crop and, what I find most useful, you can lighten images as my camera tends to underexpose. I usually use auto adjust on the basic edits section, then go to exposure and up the brightness. Also when photographing, I use the macro setting and turn the flash off. I'm no great shakes with a camera, but doing this has defo improved my pics. xx
