Lazy Sunday

Good Afternoon everyone, and thanks to all who left comments on my last blog.  I love to read them and they encourage me in my cardmaking.

It's been a lovely lazy Sunday so far, Alistair is away for a cycle with a friend,(lycra is not a good look) this always takes a few hours so I have the house to myself, so I've pottered about with housework, nothing serious, given some thought to the dinner, only thought so far.... and watched some really awful Westerns on the telly, well it beats all the political stuff that Alistair watches and comments on when he's here.

I've decided to enter another card into LOTV Little Fairies Challenge, didn't come anywhere near winning with the last one but I'm a trier. The theme is Anything Goes, so I thought I would enter the Christmas card I've made for my son and daughter in law.
The stamp is of course LOTV and coloured with promarkers, Xcut dies, red glitter card and papers are a selection that I can't remember where from, embelishments from bits and pieces in my box of tricks.

I have no idea how the winners are chosen, if its artistic content or just pulled out of a hat, does anyone know?  I see by other folk's blogs that, it is a very popular thing to do, some people enter loads of challenges, most I've never heard of, I would imagin it is quite time consuming, but fun too.

Having to add a bit on to this post; Wendy thank you for the info on blog challenges and for suggesting that I enter my card into the I love Promarkers challenge, so Iv'e gone ahead and done just that.

Anyway, I'll see how this one does, that's me for today, hope your day is going well

Hi Kate, lovely Christmas card, bet they will love it. Good luck with the challenge.
I have just returned from a long walk with my dogs, it's a beautiful day here, even had my coat off. When I say a long walk its not too far as I have Lhasa Apsos and they only have short legs, but as the weather was good we went further than usual, met loads of people and other dogs so I enjoyed it.

Hi Kate, this gorgeous creation would be perfect for our current challenge at I Love Promarkers, feel free to play along!
Challenge blogs decide their winners in different ways, some are random and some are chosen by the DT or blog owner. Most of the DTs I'm on vote for their favourites for the top three but the winner is chosen at random. Hope that helps. xx

Yay, glad you could join us at I Love Promarkers. Often, to meet the challenge rules of many challenges you need to list which ones you're entering and add a link to them, wouldn't want you to miss out on a prize! I've not been blogging a year yet and I know how confusing it is at first! If you go to Feline Playful (button on my side bar) you'll find challenge listings and a list of winners, it's a really useful way to keep track of challenges. Watch out, challenges are sooo addictive! xx

Hi Kate! Your card is delightful! Love the sparkling background and the image is beautifully colored!
Usually, in all challenges, the winners are drawn by Random org or another program which choses a number at random. The top three is voted by the members of the DT.
There's a site called Feline Playful which collects all the challenges; so, those who enter many challenges take them from there; not very time consuming, after all:)
Hope these help you through:)
Thank you so much for sharing your card with us at Lili's Little Fairies this week!
Hugs, Iulia
